Accelerate Action!

Earlier this year, our CEO & Founder Aderonke Apata, was selected as a delegate for this year’s UN Women UK Digital Participant at the 69th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69).

This year’s CSW theme is “For All Women and Girls – Equality. Rights. Empowerment.”

This was an exciting opportunity to connect, learn and work with other gender equality advocates to drive meaningful change for women and girls around the world.

Aderonke said:

“We have made some inroads in women’s and girls’ rights over the eight decades since the United Nations was founded. However, there is still a lot more to be done to achieve gender equality rights for women and girls!

Will you join me to pledge Accelerated Action on Equality. Rights. Empowerment, for All Women and Girls? Click here to add your pledge!” Aderonke continued.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who signed the pledge with African Rainbow Family and supported this year’s theme “For All Women and Girls – Equality. Rights. Empowerment.”

We continue to pledge that:

At work, I will…

I will use my voice to influence change. I’ll publicly advocate for gender equality in business, media, and policy discussions.

I will use my voice to mentor and uplift women in my field by offering guidance, support, and networking opportunities to help them advance.

At home, I will…

I’ll call out gender-based violence and harassment.

I’ll engage men in the conversation and encourage male peers, colleagues, and leaders to take an active role in addressing gender inequality.

I will believe and support survivors of abuse by listening without judgment, sharing resources, and advocating for stronger protections against gender-based violence.
