As part of the Pride in London celebrations, African Rainbow Family was proud to participate in an impactful afternoon of discussion and community celebration hosted by Kaleidoscope Trust and the Embassy of Denmark.
Held at the Royal Danish Embassy in London, the event brought together activists, diplomats, and community leaders to explore global LGBTIQ+ rights, international solidarity, and inclusion. Through engaging panel discussions and shared reflections, participants highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by LGBTIQ+ individuals internationally while celebrating the resilience and achievements of the global movement.
Attending this gathering provided a vital platform to elevate the voices of LGBTIQ+ refugees and people seeking asylum, reinforce key human rights advocacy, and foster meaningful international allies. The event reaffirmed African Rainbow Family’s ongoing commitment to campaigning for racial justice, defending human rights, and building strong global networks of support for LGBTIQ+ people of African heritage and the Global Majority.
