What an incredible day! On Saturday, August 8th, the ARF family gathered on the vibrant Kent coast for Margate Pride 2026, and it was an unforgettable celebration from start to finish.
From the stunning sea views at Walpole Bay to the iconic surroundings of Dreamland, the energy, solidarity, and joy were off the charts. Thank you to everyone who showed up, marched, danced, and made the day so special!
📍 Highlighting the Day
Our day started at Walpole Bay Lawns, where everyone met up at 10:30 AM to connect, tune into the excitement, and get decked out in our proudest colors. The morning picnic vibes set the perfect, relaxed tone before the main event.
- 1:00 PM Sharp — The March Begins: As the parade stepped off, the sea of color, music, and energy moved through the heart of Margate.
- The Route: Marching along the coast with the ocean breeze, sunshine, and cheered on by supporters along the way was pure magic.
- The Finale — Dreamland: Finishing up at Dreamland gave us the ultimate backdrop to celebrate community, identity, and togetherness.
