In celebration of LGBTIQ+ History Month, African Rainbow Family was delighted to attend a special event hosted by Lloyds Banking Group’s Rainbow Network in Manchester. We had our founder, Aderonke Apata, our Refugee Advocacy and Integration Assistant Alexandra and our Trustee Ibidapo Korede Aduloju. Aderonke took the stage as a guest speaker, sharing powerful insights on the importance of community and the ongoing journey toward a more inclusive future.
The evening was a fantastic opportunity to connect with allies and colleagues at Lloyds. Between the inspiring talks and the vibrant atmosphere, the event served as a meaningful reflection on our shared history and the collective work still needed to support the LGBTIQ+ community.
